Boston Medical Center (BMC) Grayken Center for Addiction Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) provides education, support and capacity building to community health centers and other health care and social service providers on best practices caring for patients with substance use disorders.

FREE Addiction Training for Prescribers to Fulfill 8-hour DEA MATE Act / Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 Training Requirement

The Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act was included in the Consolidated Appropriations Act. Effective June 27th, 2023, the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) requires all DEA-registered practitioners to complete a one-time, 8-hour training requirement on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.

*You are required to attest to fulfilling these requirements when registering with the DEA. We do not communicate your participation in trainings to the DEA.
